The purpose of this study is to determine the use and results obtained by using project-based learning models in writing observation report texts for Eighth Grade Students of SMPN 1 Wanasalam, academic year 2025/2026. The author used a descriptive qualitative research method. The subjects of this study were 25 seventh grade students. The objects used in this study were observation report texts compiled by eighth grade students. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The research on this test emphasized aspects of content quality, text organization, language structure, spelling, capitalization, italics, and punctuation. The results showed that the use of the project-based learning model in writing observational reports for eighth-grade students achieved a good average score. This result was obtained from 25 students, with a score of 79.2, which falls within the good criteria. The analysis also showed that 15 students, or 60%, achieved the A (very good) criterion. Six students, or 24%, achieved the B (good) criterion. Furthermore, four students, or 16%, achieved the C (adequate) criterion.
